Our Engineering Construction Division (ECD) encompasses a wide range of engineering services, including design, procurement, project management, construction, and commissioning, spanning diverse sectors such as steel, power, cement, infrastructure, and oil & gas.
Incorporated on the 30th of January 1987, originally known as “Mukand Construction & Project Engineering Company Private Limited,” the Company later became a wholly owned subsidiary of Mukand Limited in 1990, adopting the name “Mukand Construction & Project Engineering Company Limited.” Subsequently, on the 9th of July 1992, the Company underwent a name change to “Mukand Engineers Limited” through a fresh Certificate of Incorporation. In the financial year of 2022-23, and after three decades of operations, the Company merged with its parent company, Mukand Limited, one of India’s leading manufacturers of Alloy Steel and Stainless Steel products.
During its initial years, Mukand Engineers primarily served as an engineering services provider to the Mukand Group. However, it steadily expanded its operations to cater to external clients as well. The Company achieved a significant milestone with its first major project, which involved designing and constructing a Steel Plant for the Indian Government-owned Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) in 1990.
Since then, there has been a relentless pursuit of growth. In the 1990s, Mukand Engineers diversified its operations, extending its services beyond the steel sector to encompass areas such as power, cement, and infrastructure, among others.
Today, Mukand Engineers stands as an integral part of Mukand and holds a prominent position as one of India’s leading engineering companies. It has earned a strong reputation for consistently delivering high-quality projects across various sectors within stipulated timelines.
